Trabalenguas para trabajar el inglés

Como ya hemos dicho, los trabalenguas se pueden incvluir dentro del grupo de poesía. En inglés los conocemos como tongue twisters.

 Su musicalidad, y la dificultad de conseguir decirlos hacen de los trabalenguas un recurso muy divertido, en el que encuentran un reto. 

Si comprobamos que algunos de ellos son muy complicados para los niños no debemos desecharlos por ello. La simple audición de los mismos por los niños puede suscitar el gusto hacia la lengua extranjera, sumándole la diversión que provocará. No es necesario que los niños sepan el significado.

Veamos algunos ejemplos de trabalenguas que podemos trabajar en educación infantil.

butter, better than the bitter butter, and it made her butter better so 'twas

better Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter!           

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Double bubble gum, bubbles double.

How many cans can a canner can, if a canner can can cans?


A canner can can as many cans as a canner can, if a canner can can cans.


Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,


if Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,

wheres the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?   


Tie a knot, tie a knot.
Tie a tight, tight knot.

Tie a knot in the shape of a nought. 


Swan swam over the sea,


Swim, swan, swim!

Swan swam back again

Well swum, swan!
